The Hilton Head Oral Board Review Course

Overview

The oral board review course at Hilton Head Island is an interactive, 5-day course designed with a single goal in mind: for each candidate to develop an organized, fool-proof system to skillfully navigate and pass the Oral Board Examination given by ABEM/AOBEM. This course offers the advantage of small class sizes (maximum occupancy 30 people), with an instructor to candidate radio of 1:6 or less. The small class size, combined with our faculty’s expertise fosters the optimal educational environment for candidates to obtain the strategies and information needed to pass this test.

The course’s time-tested methods have been implemented for over 12 years at this course, and have resulted in a subsequent passing rate of 90% or higher. All simulated oral board encounters have been created by the course’s faculty members with the intention to teach the relative skills and information needed to successfully pass the Oral Board Examination. Each case is referenced from standard emergency medicine text books for easy confirmation of teaching points.

Target Audience

This course is designed for physicians who have successfully completed Part 1 of the ABEM/AOBEM written examination and are qualified candidates for Part 2, The Oral Examination.
